Dock Levellers
Dock levellers are well designed to compensate for the differences in height between various lorry floors and ramps. Using a dock leveller, the load can be moved in or out of the lorry in a single horizontal movement. This means that regardless of what your delivery or shipment is and what kind of lorry it needs to travel on, your stock and products remain in perfect condition and your staff do not need to worry about struggling with a heavy load.
Dock Shelters
Dock shelters provide more than just shelter; they provide a means of saving energy and maintain comfortable conditions for operatives. Dock shelters work by creating a seal around the back of the vehicle, protecting it from weather and temperature changes. This allows for the safe transportation of refrigerated products and temperature-controlled machinery and stops drafts from entering your building. A variety of designs are available, including a sealed version for temperature controlled warehouses.
Trailer Plates
In situations where trailers are left disconnected from their cab units, high pressure can be generated on the ground area under the landing legs which can lead to damage to your floor. Trailer plates are designed to spread the load over a wider area and thereby prevent such damage.
